How much will my system cost?
The final price depends on the roof, power, inverter, battery and connection work. The calculator shows a transparent illustrative model; a tailored proposal defines the equipment and scope.
Do I need a battery?
Yes. In today's conditions in Cyprus, we recommend battery storage as one of the most practical additions to a solar system. EAC/DSO continues to curtail generation and rotate PV disconnections, while new systems in congested grid areas connect on a zero-export basis. A battery stores daytime solar for use at home and in the evening, reducing reliance on exporting energy. Operation during export restrictions depends on an approved zero-export arrangement and suitable equipment. We assess battery capacity and connection conditions for your property.
Will solar keep my home running in a power cut?
Only with a configuration designed for backup. Panels or a battery alone do not guarantee power during an outage. The inverter, switching equipment and supported circuits must be specified.
What happens with permits and grid connection?
The applicable scheme, approvals, responsibilities and connection work should be confirmed in your proposal for the specific property before installation.
Can you look at an existing system?
Share the panel and inverter models, installation documents and your goal. Compatibility and an on-site assessment determine whether a battery or another upgrade is suitable.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. Our hybrid systems support charging exclusively from surplus solar. For an existing system, we first check inverter, charger and energy management compatibility. Charger installation and setup can also be ordered separately.
